Cemetery Tour Training
Learn how to give historic, guided tours through Jackson’s oldest cemetery, Mt. Evergreen Cemetery and be a Volunteer docent at the Ella Sharp Museum. We need your help to make our “Walk Through Jackson’s Past” Cemetery Tour the best Halloween event in Jackson. We’ll review scripts and you’ll learn how to present the city’s rich history for the guided Cemetery Tours on October 19. Costumes from the museum will be reviewed and additional information, including arrival and departure times, for the October 19 event will be shared during training. Full volunteer description here.
