Join the Ella Sharp Museum for Independent Studio, to utilize our ceramics studios and equipment to work on their own on select days. Independent Studio is currently available from 12:00pm to 4:00pm Tuesday through Friday.

As we celebrate our roots dating back to 1965, we’re honored to share the rich history of our community. But this event isn’t just about the past — it’s about savoring the present moment. It’s an experience designed to create memories with loved ones and community members.
Halloween Craft Show

Come join us for a fun day of spooky, gory, cute and creative vendors. We are hosting out first Halloween craft show September 22nd from 10am to 4pm. We will have a lot of vendors, raffles and food trucks. Purchase ticket online for $2 each or $3 at the door.
Watercolor Painting Workshop

Back by popular demand! A second workshop has been added for budding artists to try the beautiful medium of watercolor painting! This class, taught again by our skilled artist Sarah BW, will introduce new students to creating special gift cards!

The Ella Sharp Museum currently houses tens of thousands of objects and documents from throughout Jackson’s history. We are excited to offer you, our members, the chance to tour our hidden collections spaces alongside our curatorial team. Join us for a members-only evening behind the scenes, and glimpse what makes our exhibits tick. The tour will be followed by an open discussion with our curators, including a cash bar with one complementary drink.
Fall Harvest Festival – Call for Vendors

Join Ella Sharp Museum in our annual Fall Harvest Festival. We are currently looking for craft and Art vendors. This is an outdoor event and you will need to provide your own tables, chairs and tent (please keep an eye on the weather). Booth provided will be a 10×10 space.
Soft Pastels – Beginner / Intermediate Workshop

Join art instructor, Sharon Sunday, in learning and expanding the use of soft pastels, exploring new techniques especially for beginners and intermediates. All supplies are included in your registration price.
Murder Mystery Dinner – An Old Hollywood Whodunnit!

Come to the quintessential whodunnit thriller at the estate of Sir Warren Peace and get thrown into a night of mystery, intrigue, and murder you will never forget. With a killer crowd of people just waiting for murder to arrive on the scene, this night will keep everyone looking over their shoulders and guessing who the next victim will be! Bribe suspects for clues and gather information to uncover the unhinged guest who is whacking all the invitees. Just be careful, because you could be next! Dress your best in evening wear and suits—this is a refined party, after all. Adult only event.
