If you love the spirit of fall and want to be a part of a fantastic community event, we’d love to have you join our team!
Independent Studio for Advanced Ceramics Artists
Tuesday through Friday in October
Join the Ella Sharp Museum for Independent Studio, to utilize our ceramics studios and equipment to work on their own on select days. Independent Studio is currently available from 12:00pm to 4:00pm Tuesday through Friday.
Murder Mystery Dinner – An Old Hollywood Whodunnit!
October 19
Come to the quintessential whodunnit thriller at the estate of Sir Warren Peace and get thrown into a night of mystery, intrigue, and murder you will never forget. With a killer crowd of people just waiting for murder to arrive on the scene, this night will keep everyone looking over their shoulders and guessing who the next victim will be! Bribe suspects for clues and gather information to uncover the unhinged guest who is whacking all the invitees. Just be careful, because you could be next! Dress your best in evening wear and suits—this is a refined party, after all. Adult only event.

We’re excited to announce the return of our beloved Fall Harvest Festival! Bring out the family and enjoy cider, pumpkin painting, food trucks, & more at the Ella Sharp Museum. New this year – a pie eating competition!
Pie Plates with Curiouser Clay
October 22
Join Curiouser Clay at Ella Sharp Museum on Tuesday, October 22nd from 6-8 PM as we create our own one-of-a-kind pie plates! No experience is necessary as the instructor leads you through all the steps necessary to create your own ceramic pie plate! After the workshop, all pieces will be taken back to the studio to be fired and will be returned to Ella Sharp for pick-up two weeks later.

The Ella Sharp Museum currently houses tens of thousands of objects and documents from throughout Jackson’s history. We are excited to offer you, our members, the chance to tour our hidden collections spaces alongside our curatorial team. Join us for a members-only evening behind the scenes, and glimpse what makes our exhibits tick. The tour will be followed by an open discussion with our curators, including a cash bar with one complementary drink.

Calling all educators! Join us at the Ella Sharp Museum for an exclusive Educator Open House designed to showcase the exciting opportunities we offer for school groups. Explore our galleries, take a guided tour of the historic Dibble Schoolhouse, and view our planetarium. Whether you’re looking for enriching field trip ideas or curriculum-enhancing resources, our staff will be on hand to share how we can support your educational goals.

Join us for a spooky evening on farmlane! Enjoy cider & donuts, face painting, and help us award the best decorated booth. This is a free event for the community. Gates will open for trick or treaters at 6pm.
Spoon Rests with Curiouser Clay
November 13
Join Curiouser Clay at Ella Sharp Museum on Wednesday, November 13th from 6-8 PM as we create our own one-of-a-kind spoon rests! No experience is necessary as the instructor leads you through all the steps necessary to create two spoon rests (one for you and a gift for a friend!) After the workshop, all pieces will be taken back to the studio to be fired and will be returned to Ella Sharp for pick-up two weeks later.
