Ella Sharp Museum offers flexible, experience-driven rentals that honor our guests’ creativity and the museum’s heritage. Every rental includes charm, care, and a setting that make events at Ella feel special.
All hourly rentals include Tables, Chairs, Staff host, Kitchen for prep (Granary & Community Room rentals only), Setup & teardown. Additional add-ons available. We offer flexibility with your vendors, decor, and layout. 2 hour minimum for hourly rentals.
The Grand Community Room
Capacity: 250 chairs only; 160 with tables and chairs
The Grand Community Room is the perfect place for your large gathering. This 2,300 sq. ft. room features an arched window overlooking the scenic patio and classic log cabin, built in 1864.
Ella’s Granary
Capacity: 115 chairs only; 60 with tables and chairs
Ella’s Granary offers an intimate and rustic space with a covered outdoor patio, catering kitchen, parlour, and split levels to accommodate a wide variety of gatherings.
The Activities Room
Capacity: up to 50 guests
A comfortable space great for small gatherings, meetings, and birthday parties.
Hurst Planetarium
Consider hosting your next event inside the Hurst Planetarium! Includes a planetarium program of your choice (length 30 minutes).
Additional Hourly Rental Add-Ons:
Linens – $10-15 each (white or black)
Bar Service – Please contact our event coordinator for current pricing.
Non-Alcoholic Beverage Service – Ice Water, Iced Tea, & Lemonade – $3 per person. Soda – $3 per person. Hot Coffee & Tea – $3 per person
Additional Prep/Cleaning Time – $150/hr ($200/hr if outside available hours)
Outdoor Heaters for Patio – $200. Community Room only, includes 2 heaters
All contact details, including floor plans and consumable orders are to be placed no less than two weeks prior to your event. Changes are not permitted less than 48 hours in advance and will be subject to a fee of $100 and up. Events booked less than 30 days out include a 10% rush fee on the room rental total.
Events scheduled on museum-closed days or recognized holidays are subject to an additional Holiday Operations Fee ranging from $250-$500, based on event type and staffing needs.
