Fresh Paint for Ella’s Farmhouse

With generous support from our community, the Ella Sharp Museum is thrilled to announce the next phase of enhancements for Ella’s house, highlighted by a long-awaited exterior repainting. This project will not only involve refreshing the house with a new coat of paint but also include necessary repairs to its woodwork and structure. As stewards of Ella Sharp’s legacy, we consider it a privilege to uphold this landmark, deeply intertwined with our collective memory.
Since its construction in the mid-19th century, Ella’s house has worn various colors including straw, yellow, and white. Now, we invite our esteemed members to participate in a special decision-making process. Your input is invaluable to us:
What color would you like to see the house? Whichever receives the most votes will be the new farmhouse color.
Please submit your votes by July 26.
We will reveal the winning color on July 29th. Painting will begin in August to September.
