Spring Arbor Strawberries
Spring Arbor Strawberries is a project I came up as the COVID-19 started to affect my school, community, and daily life. I wanted to find a way for people to stay connected as well as active during this time of isolation. So I created seven strawberries out of MDF, painted them, and placed them around Spring Arbor. I then posted clues and photos, on my social media pages, of general locations of where they could be found. On the back of the strawberries was a hashtag so that when people found the strawberries they could take a picture and post it using the hashtag. This gave us an opportunity as a community to give us some sense of “togetherness” even when we can’t physically gather.
