I began this quarantine in a panic over having enough of my antidepressants. Don’t worry, I do. Back in March, I was pretty worried about what was happening, what was going to happen, how I would handle the kids being home all day. In the middle of winter. I’ve been adapting to the current situation by remembering to use art as therapy. My journey began with an art journal. I dove back into printmaking, a passion I’ve had since college days. Using the different art tools/mediums I’ve accumulated over the years (ie stuff down in the basement), I started experimenting more with type/graphic design/fonts. They are a work in progress. I hope to recreate these on larger pieces of paper for the physical show.
