Jane Robinson
Alone Together
Jane is a Michigan native who uses fluid acrylic paints to make expressionist, abstract artwork inspired by jazz music. She is particularly influenced by early pioneers of the genre, including John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, Sonny Clarke and additionally modern jazz artists. The movement, rhythm, instruments and “color” of the music opens a portal to a world that Robinson captures on canvas.
