Ella Sharp Museum Announces Executive Leadership Transition

Ella Sharp Museum announces that Executive Director Jeremy Frew has resigned from his role. Frew has served as Executive Director since September 2023 and has shared his intention to return to higher education, a field to which he has devoted his career.

The Board of Directors expresses its sincere appreciation to Frew for his leadership and service to the Museum. During his tenure, the organization experienced increased stability, strengthened relationships across the organization and community, and continued development of engaging exhibitions, programs, and initiatives that support Ella Sharp Museum’s role as a place for art, history, and community connection.

Throughout his time at the Museum, Frew worked closely with the Board, staff, volunteers, and supporters to advance the Museum’s mission and reinforce its position as an important cultural resource for the region.

The Board of Directors is actively engaged in leadership succession planning to ensure a smooth and well-supported transition. The Museum remains fully operational and mission-driven, with staff, programming, and daily operations continuing as planned.

Additional information regarding leadership transition plans will be shared as appropriate.
