Motor City Boomer: Book Talk with Larry Lankton

Join us at Ella Sharp Museum for an evening with Jackson native and author Larry Lankton as he shares his new book, Motor City Boomer: The Car Culture that Defined a Generation.

Part book talk and author reading, this special Ella After Hours event explores the car culture that shaped a generation and the stories behind Lankton’s new work. Jackson’s own history makes a special appearance in the book, with Ella Sharp Park mentioned a number of times.

Enjoy an evening at the Museum featuring Larry Lankton, classic cars, and the opportunity to learn more about the history and culture that helped define Michigan. Copies of Motor City Boomer may also be available for purchase in the Museum Gift Shop.
