Hot Air Jubilee 2023

Date: July 21 & 22

Time: 3:00pm – 9:00pm

Celebrate the Hot Air Jubilee at the Ella Sharp Museum with a variety of activities on the grounds and inside too. We’ll be open with special 3-9pm hours on Friday and Saturday for the Festival!

FREE Planetarium shows will be offered every 15 Minutes. Due to limited capacity, shows will be available on a first come, first served basis.

Admission to the galleries and Farmhouse Tours will be offered for a reduced price of $5 and can be purchased at the Front Desk of the Museum. Museum members and children under 5 are free.

About the Hot Air Jubilee

Since 1983, the Jackson Hot Air Jubilee has been a popular family event right here in Jackson. Since then, the Jubilee has grown to an event that thousands of people attend every summer. 25-30 Balloons come in from around the country to participate in the friendly rivalry of the contests.

What to Expect

The main focus of the Jubilee is obviously the Hot Air Balloons, however that’s not all there is to enjoy. When you and your family come to Ella Sharp Park during the event you will be greeted by some longtime Jubilee favorites such as Craft booths, the Kids Kingdom, Vendors, and an Auto Show. Being at the park this year offers a whole new set of opportunities for you to experience the Hurst Planetarium, Ella Sharp Museum, and the Mini Golf Course as well!
