Summer Ceramics Classes
Advanced – Thursday Evening
Join us for our advanced ceramics class to cultivate your creativity. This class is appropriate for those familiar with pottery and is designed to enhance skills. This 4 week class is for advanced students. Clay is available for purchase ($25 per 25lb bag). Glazing rates are calculated individually with each kiln firing.

Session 2 Dates: Thursdays July 14th – August 4th SOLD OUT
Time: 6 – 9 pm
Price: $150 per person ($100 for members)
Meet the Instructor: Jesse Kasper
Jesse Kasper became obsessed with the world of ceramics at a young age. Family vacations to the Western U.S. in the early 1990’s allowed her to explore ancient Anasazi ruins. A house fire created broken shards of pottery that became intricate puzzles to solve. These experiences helped Jesse to form a deep connection with history and cultivated a love for the functional and hand made. A Montessori background adds to her lifelong love of learning and teaching. Jesse holds a BFA in Ceramics and a BA in Advertising from Michigan State University. She has been a practicing ceramicist and educator for over 10 years. Jesse lives in Jackson, MI with her wife Hannah, son Ocean and crew of furry family members.
