From Kitchen Floors to Gallery Walls: Introducing the Linocut

Saturday, May. 5 - Friday, Aug. 17

Linocut is a relief print-making technique in which the artist carves a design into linoleum, inks the surface, and then presses the image onto paper or fabric. This exhibit features the work of Laura DeLind. Her prints explore themes of spontaneity, honesty, and boldness using elements of negative space, strong composition, and imagination. Laura has been cutting and hand-printing linocuts for over 30 years. She is fascinated by organic shapes and black and white designs.
